Sr. Golang DeveloperCognizant seeks to hire an Sr. Golang Developer for our IoT Practice. The IoT Practice provides Product Engineering best practice/standards development, deployment, management, and operational support across the communications, media and technology industry. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications below. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within this expanding global team.Experience:A minimum 4 to 6 years of proven experience as a Golang developer and 8 to 9 years of total experienceAbsolute requirement of strong knowledge in Go Programming language, Goroutines, gRPC, Constructs, Google cloudFamiliarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernates)Experience in building DevOps Pipeline CI/CDDesign and develop software. Unit testingSoftware design and Software developmentDesign and requirements meetings - Software development - Daily standup with team resourcesKnowledge of programming languages Java, C++Work in short sprints, comfortable with short-term planning and pivotsUI skills (React or Svelte), Agile - needed 50% of the timeDeliver quality software on timeQualifications:BS/MS degree in computer science, Engineering or related subject
