Maintain consistency of quality patient care. Discern normal and abnormal findings and consult with physician advisors as needed. Evaluate diagnoses, manage certain illnesses and conditions, order appropriate laboratory studies, and identify suitable pharmacologic or non‑pharmacologic interventions. Refer or consult with other physicians. Conduct hospital consults and participate in inpatient rounding when required. Develop and implement patient education activities. Build trusting relationships with patients and referring providers. Provide leadership in care coordination and serve as a clinical resource to medical assistants and chemotherapy nurses. Qualifications and Education Requirements Master's Degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies. Current California Registered Nurse license & California Nurse Practitioner License. Approved Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License within 6 months of hire. DEA registration within 6 months of hire. National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification. Current Basic Life Support certification. Proficiency with EMR/computer skills. 2+ year commitment preferred. Mission‑driven towards comprehensive patient care, with a desire to develop depth in caring for the patient as a whole and establish roots in the provider community. Bilingual skills preferred. Calm under pressure. Problem‑solving skills. Clinical curiosity. As a condition of employment, staff is required to comply with all state and federal vaccination mandates.
