JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the MYN Manager, the Evaluator Connector serves as the evaluation lead and teen council coordinator for Mountain Youth Network (MYN). This position supports community prevention efforts by leading program evaluation activities and elevating youth voice through a collective impact approach. The Evaluator Connector designs and implements evaluation strategies to assess risk and protective factors, measure outcomes, and guide continuous improvement of prevention initiatives.

This role also coordinates and facilitates the Trek Teen Council by recruiting and supporting youth members, planning and leading meetings, and guiding youth-driven projects using the Positive Youth Development Model. The position ensures youth perspectives are meaningfully integrated into prevention strategies and community initiatives.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:

Serve as main touchpoint for CDPHE (Colorado Department of Public and Environmental Health) Evaluation Team.

Lead the creation and execution of MYN Evaluation Plan and support with other deliverables.

Support in the development and implementation of MYN Community Action Plan (CAP) and Sustainability Plan.

Track and report progress on CAP quarterly.

Support in the implementation of the Communities That Care (CTC) Model and its phases.

Evaluate and report progress on the 5 Phases of the CTC Model.

Participate in monthly progress calls with Colorado Department of Public and Environmental Health.

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Oversee required data collection and submission for prevention programs and community initiatives.

Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to risk and protective factors.

Identify program, community, and organizational data gaps.

Monitor program performance and measure outcomes to assess effectiveness and impact.

Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and the broader community.

Use data to inform decision-making and support continuous quality improvement.

Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable laws and best practices.

Prevention & Collective Impact Collaboration

Collaborate with community partners, coalitions, and stakeholders using a collective impact framework.

Support planning and implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies.

Provide technical assistance on evaluation methods and data interpretation.

Integrate data and evaluation mindset into all aspects of work.

Participate in cross-sector initiatives to align efforts and advance community prevention goals.

Teen Council Coordination & Youth Engagement

Recruit, onboard, and retain diverse youth participants for the Trek Teen Council.

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging, inclusive, and youth-centered meetings.

Empower youth to identify community needs and lead projects addressing prevention priorities.

Guide youth-led initiatives from concept through implementation and evaluation.

Apply the Positive Youth Development Model to promote leadership, skill development, and civic engagement.

Ensure youth voice is represented in community planning, prevention strategies, and decision-making processes.

Administrative & Program Support

Maintain accurate records of evaluation data, youth participation, coalition efforts, and program outcomes.

Assist with grant reporting, compliance, and documentation of program impact.

Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and youth-led events.

Perform other duties as assigned to support prevention and youth engagement initiatives.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in public health, social sciences, evaluation, data analytics, youth development, or a related field required.

Two (2) years of experience in program evaluation, prevention, youth engagement, or a related field preferred.

Experience working with youth and facilitating groups strongly preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge of program evaluation methods, data collection, and outcome measurement.

Understanding of prevention science, including risk and protective factors.

Familiarity with collective impact and community-based collaboration models.

Strong facilitation and youth engagement skills.

Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including youth and community partners.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid Colorado Motor Vehicle Drivers License

Must pass a background check: Criminal and Traffic

Conviction of a crime will not be an absolute bar to employment

Required legal authorization to work - United States citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States

Must complete Communities That Care Training of Facilitators within 6 months of hire.

EMERGENCY DEPLOYMENT

Employees may be temporarily reassigned to perform emergency response or disaster recovery duties within their department or in other County departments during a County-declared emergency or disaster, as authorized under the Clear Creek County Employee Disaster Deployment Policy.
