Talent Acquisition Representative
Our client, a Business Solutions company, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Representative for their Southfield, MI/Irving, TX/Orlando, FL/Dublin, OH/Hybrid location. Responsibilities include managing staffing activities within a designated region and partnering with operational management to formulate and execute timely, cost-effective staffing initiatives supporting regional and corporate business objectives.
Essential functions and responsibilities include:
- Identifying and cultivating sources for hiring experienced and entry-level personnel through networking, colleague referrals, internet mining technology, competitor candidate information database, candidate relationship pipeline management strategy, and utilization of staffing technology.
- Managing the recruiting budget for the region through cost-effective advertisement and third-party recruiters.
- Screening, interviewing, and testing job applicants; maintaining an applicant database utilizing an electronic recruiting system; initiating and evaluating background checks for candidates being considered for hire; coordinating on-boarding activities.
- Coordinating and participating in job fairs and open houses designed to recruit volume resources; supporting IAP recruitment through college recruiting activities; providing training for colleague resources generalists in staffing techniques.
Requirements include:
- Performing other duties as assigned; supporting the organization's quality program.
- Must have recruiting experience using Workday.
- Education & licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of staffing experience including years as a direct recruiter in a high volume, difficult-to-source industry required. Insurance industry recruiting experience is preferred. Experience with Workday.
