The quality engineer will focus on effective and efficient inspection processes, timely processing of rejected material, maintaining good relationships with key suppliers, and on-boarding and training of new quality technicians. Who You Are The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and familiarity with Quality tools and methods. This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week. Responsibilities ● Develop and document standard procedures ● Create and execute inspection plans, gather other data as needed ● Assist with root cause analysis of issues, follow up on corrective actions ● Maintain Quality records and prepare customer documentation ● Assist with calibration ● Other quality tasks as needed or assigned. Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs Qualifications ● Minimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing quality system ● Experience with part prints, tolerancing ● Experience with inspection tools, hand held (micrometers, calipers) and more advanced (comparators, CMM, vision systems). ● Ability to write clear instructions and follow instructions. ● Comfortable with spreadsheets, Word documents and basic statistics ● BS in technical field or engineering preferred SALARY RANGE: $76,100 - $114,100 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
