Mechanical Engineer
Full service firm in the Mid-West looking to bring to their team a Mechanical Engineer! This position has a focus on the Industrial, Power Plant and the refinery and mining markets. The types of projects range from power plants, heavy industrial and assembly/manufacturing facilities.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes.
- Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects.
- Opportunity for leadership in Corporate Technical Committees.
- Acts as an advisor and develops the technical competence of less experienced staff.
- Key role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects.
- Opportunity as lead engineer on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
- Provides technical assistance to help resolve field issues. Must be able to visit project sites.
- Opportunity to serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
- Opportunity to identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services.
- Participates in presentations to clients and interviews for new clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- P.E. required Proven Technical or Project Management experience.
