Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,338 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Cathedral City, California. Position Details Start date: 06/22/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts); Employment type: Travel Physical Therapist – Flexible Schedule. Job Description The Physical Therapist implements patient rehabilitation programs to help improve patient mobility, function, and strength. This role requires a high level of professional skill and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Utilize Electronic Medical Record systems to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow‑up. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides in patient care. Communicate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow up on prescriptions and authorizations. Assist patients with mobility and ensure patient comfort during therapy sessions. Collaborate with the front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow‑up. Participate in the business marketing and referral processes when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy. Active Physical Therapist license in California, or plan to test for licensure. Continuing Education courses preferred.
