Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Akron, OH,. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. If you are a problem-solver with a hands-on approach and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Shift:
7:30am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
