Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Appropriate endorsement aligned to Career & Technical Education, Industrial Technology, Engineering/Technology, or a related field (e.g., IX, TE, TX, or other relevant endorsement) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in teaching and inspiring middle school students
• Commitment to equitable instructional practices and inclusive learning environments

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction aligned to the MEERA curriculum, including areas such as:
• • Additive manufacturing (3D printing)
  • Robotics and automation
  • Basic electronics
• Manufacturing concepts and engineering design
• Create a safe, well-managed lab environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support growth and engagement
• Foster a classroom culture aligned with Capturing Kids' Hearts practices, emphasizing relationships, belonging, and student empowerment

Terms of Employment: Wayland Union EA position, CBA available at
Grant funded position, no guarantee of continued employment each school year.
