We are seeking a  reliable, compassionate, and experienced male caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care and daily assistance to a male client in a home setting. The caregiver will assist with personal hygiene, mobility, daily activities, companionship, and other needs while maintaining the client's dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.

A  male caregiver is preffered/required for this position due to the client's personal-care needs and preference for assistance from a male caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist the male client with bathing, showering, grooming, shaving, and other personal hygiene needs.

• Assist with dressing and changing clothes.

• Provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care, if applicable.

• Assist with getting in and out of bed, chairs, or other transfers as needed.

• Provide mobility assistance and help maintain a safe environment.

• Assist with meal preparation, eating, and hydration as needed.

• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining the client's personal space.

• Accompany the client to medical appointments, errands, social activities, or other outings when needed.

• Provide companionship and respectful social interaction.

• Observe and communicate any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the appropriate family member or care professional.

• Follow the client's established care plan and safety procedures.

• Respect the client's privacy, personal boundaries, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

• Male and comfortable providing hands-on one-on-one personal care to a male client.

• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and trustworthy.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Comfortable assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and mobility.

• Physically capable of performing the duties required by the client's care needs.

• Professional and able to maintain appropriate caregiver-client boundaries.

• Able to communicate effectively with the client and family.

• Experienced in caregiving, personal care, home health, or a similar role preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or personal-care experience preferred.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred, transportation is required.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Ability to provide professional references.

• Willingness to follow the client's care plan and instructions.
