Bagger PositionGraymont is one of the largest lime and limestone producers in North America. The Eden Plant is a very well-established operation in Wisconsin with long term commitments for community and environmental stewardship.The Bagger will work as part of a two-person team to produce bags of hydrated lime; assisting, as needed in the bulk bag and mortar and ground lime production departments. The Bagger will be expected to load and secure loads on customer and contract trucks and assist in the maintenance of production equipment as needed.ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety rules and standard safety practicesOperate bagging equipment while following safety precautions and standards.Operate automatic palletizer while following safety precautions and standards.Operate forklift truck while following safety precautions and standards.Effectively communicate and cooperate with truck drivers and customers.Must possess the ability to detect and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions in accordance with safety rules and standards.Ability to lift, carry, push, or move a minimum of 75 lbs.Assist in various manual labor tasks around the plant as needed such as housekeeping, greasing, bagging, etc.Work in various environments, including weather variations and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment is supplied by Graymont)QualificationsCurrent Driver's License is a strong assetOver 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma/GED Equivalent DesiredPhysically fit and ability to work shiftsSelf-motivated, goal oriented, and excellent communication skillsBe able to think on your feet and troubleshoot/problem solveStrong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving abilityAbility to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategyMechanical experience an assetExperience working in industrial environments preferredMust possess the ability to read and write the English language to effectively interpret manuals, regulations, reports; must have the ability to complete various types of paperwork.Pre-employment drug screening required.BenefitsGraymont offers competitive wages; excellent benefit package and pension plan, along with opportunities for advancement Graymont
