Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to independently perform a wide range of computed tomography scans in a busy ER environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency and inpatient imaging with a focus on maintaining accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all CT scans with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Collaborate with imaging aides to efficiently manage patient workflow and image acquisition.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including contrast injection and radiation precautions.
• Document procedures accurately within the EMH Epic system.
• Provide exceptional patient care, particularly to emergency and ICU patients, ensuring comfort and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification and a valid New York State license with injection authority.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3-4 years of independent CT imaging experience.
• Proficient in operating Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner.
• Possess BLS certification and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and professional competence in all CT scans (excluding cardiac).
