Project Manager, Sustainable Buildings – JLLWhat this job involves:You will lead transformative sustainability projects that shape the future of commercial real estate. As a Project Manager on JLL's Sustainability Consulting team, you'll drive green building certifications, manage construction sustainability initiatives, and deliver strategic solutions for leading global clients. This role combines technical expertise with client relationship management, allowing you to make a measurable impact on environmental performance while advancing JLL's position as an industry leader in sustainable real estate practices.What your day-to-day will look like:Lead client meetings, design charrettes, and presentations to communicate sustainability strategies and project progressDevelop and complete documentation, plans, and calculations to achieve green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, Fitwel)Track sustainability metrics and goals, providing written and oral reports to design teams, owners, and contractorsManage project financials including setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable to ensure cost-effective deliveryDevelop project scopes, schedules, and technical documentation while proactively addressing project-related issuesConduct job site visits during construction to monitor progress and verify conformance to sustainable design specificationsSupport project executives on large, complex assignments requiring advanced sustainability knowledgeRequired Qualifications:3-6 years of experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management, or energy efficiencyBA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with strong academic recordLEED AP, WELL AP, and/or Fitwel Ambassador certificationDemonstrated proficiency with project management technology tools and ability to adopt new technologiesExcellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop technical presentationsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast-paced environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with embodied carbon analysis and sustainable material specificationKnowledge of GRESB, CDP, GRI, TCFD, SASB, and ENERGY STAR frameworksFamiliarity with building HVAC systems and mechanical design considerationsExperience with International Living Futures Institute, Net Zero, Passive House, or Zero Waste certificationsBackground in construction administration or architectural project deliveryCorporate sustainability reporting experienceThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
