We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill or surgical pediatric patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate families regarding patient conditions, treatments, and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in PICU.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Schedule

This position is for 12-hour night shifts, and requires every other weekend and holiday commitment. A department-specific orientation will be provided.
