Provides unsurpassed patient experiences through selection of eyewear, accurate measurements, ordering, and fitting the patient to fulfill all of their eyewear needs. Support establishing the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

Major duties and responsibilities include custom fitting glasses, precise placement of prescriptions in lenses, leadership in optical acumen, taking and recording measurements, exploring patient needs, assisting peers, anticipating problems, partnering with management, multitasking, operating the point-of-sale system, committing to delivery dates, achieving individual and team goals, maintaining dispensary appearance, collaborating with doctors and practice staff, demonstrating safe work practices, possessing a can-do spirit, adhering to company policies, working weekends and evenings, fostering positive working relationships, maintaining proper dress code, and performing other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, active state optical licensure, strong customer service skills, strong basic math skills, sales skills, and embracing new technology and change. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with technology such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications.
