Databricks Platform Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support enterprise-level data initiatives, the full-time remote Databricks Platform Engineer will deploy and manage Databricks resources using Terraform, onboard new applications, and build disaster recovery solutions while ensuring platform automation and production support. Key responsibilities Deploy and manage Databricks platform resources with Terraform and create reusable wrapper modules for consistent onboarding Onboard new applications onto the Databricks platform, collaborating with respective teams Build and harden disaster recovery solutions for the Databricks environment, including replication and failover testing Required qualifications 6+ years in platform, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering with hands-on Databricks administration in production Strong experience with Terraform, including writing and maintaining reusable modules Solid cloud infrastructure experience, particularly in networking (VPCs, private endpoints, DNS, security groups) Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform deployments Working knowledge of Unity Catalog, workspace administration, and cluster policies Virtual Vocations Inc
