Technical Program ManagerLocation: Onsite - Hawthorne, CAPay: $45-50 an hour depending on experiencePlacement Type: 6 month contract with potential for extensionEnvironment: Fast-paced environment, collaborate with local/global teams, and work closely with TPMs and QE'sTop SkillsAbility to take a technical concept and translate to non-techExperience in hardwareTechnical writing and program management experienceKey ResponsibilitiesAnticipate bottlenecks and manage escalations.Make tradeoffs while balancing customer safety, business needs, and technical constraints.Drive complex field quality investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs.Improve problem-solving velocity across Operations and Engineering teams.Establish and maintain pre- and post-launch risk visibility frameworks.Identify, assess, track, and mitigate product safety risks and field quality issues.Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.Daily ActivitiesManage quality and safety programs.Work toward program goals.Assess product safety risks.Adhere to SLAs.Create and maintain written documentation and communications.Additional ResponsibilitiesInteract with Project Sponsors, Technical Program Managers, Quality Engineers, Safety Engineers, and cross-functional teams.Lead field quality and safety initiatives from planning through execution.Support field investigations and corrective action programs.Must Haves:1-2 years of experience within Program ManagementAbility to take technical concepts and translate them for non-technical audiences.Strong hands-on experience.Experience working in technical or hardware-focused environmentsHardware experience.Technical writing and program management experience.Nice To Haves:Coding and automation experience.Quality Engineering experienceAbility to understand and analyze data.PMPLean Six Sigma2-3 years of Program Management experience preferred.
