Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a high-acuity Interventional Cardiac Catheterization laboratory, supporting advanced cardiac procedures and patient monitoring. Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and efficient patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and interventions as per physician orders and protocol.
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac equipment such as balloon pumps, Impella, OCT, IVUS, Inari, and FFR systems.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic medical records, with Epic Cupid documentation preferred.
• Collaborate closely with cardiology and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Proficiency in the use of advanced cardiac devices such as balloon pumps, Impella, OCT, IVUS, Inari, and FFR.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call schedule with flexibility for 11-12 days per rotation.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
