Speech Therapy Position

Delivers advanced speech therapy services through the evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of speech therapy. May lead or engage in professional development and performance improvement activities. Responsible for identifying, resolving, and/or escalating clinical and operational issues and assists in selection and maintenance of equipment.

Primary responsibilities include performing advanced speech therapy services, patient assessments, individualized treatment plan programs, patient evaluations, therapy, education, counseling, mentorship, interdisciplinary care, performance improvement activities, clinical and operational issue resolution, equipment selection and maintenance, and professional development.

Work experience includes a master's degree in speech language pathology, one year of licensed speech language pathology experience beyond Clinical Fellowship Year, full speech pathology license in the state of Maryland, Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
