Safety Manager - Mechanical Construction
Location: St. Louis, MO 
Salary: $70K-$130K (salary depends on experience)

The Project Site Safety Manager plans, implements, and enforces the safety program across active St. Louis area project sites, serving as the primary safety resource for field trades, project management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and enforce site safety plans, JHAs, and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 compliant programs.
Conduct jobsite inspections and audits, tracking corrective actions
Manage safety metrics (TRIR, DART) and OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301)
Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training for pipefitters, sheet metal workers, plumbers, and HVAC techs
Deliver training on hot work, confined space, fall protection, lockout tagout, and rigging
Coach foremen and superintendents on field-level safety ownership; track certifications
Lead incident, near miss, and first aid investigations, and root cause analysis

Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred
1+ years of safety management experience in mechanical, industrial, or heavy construction
OSHA 30 Hour Construction and ASP certification required (GSP a bonus)
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required
Knowledge of piping, HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal hazard profiles
Strong communication skills; valid driver's license; able to travel between sites
Proficient in Microsoft Office; safety software experience a plus
