Contingent Assets is looking for an Accounting Controller. This is a critical role in managing all financial operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position oversees an accounting team and focuses on internal operations, strategic planning, and comprehensive financial management.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee budget management, forecasting, and expense monitoring
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Supervise a large accounting team of 10+ members
• Handle month-end close and cash flow management
• Coordinate audits and maintain internal controls
• Monitor financial operations, office needs & work with team members
• Ability to automate processes, invoicing, banking and month end close
• Confient in working with senior leadership and team members

 

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Knowledge of GAAP compliance and internal controls
• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Background in medical office finance
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
• Effective communication abilities
• QuickBooks
