Shift: 1st Shift - 08:30 AM to 05:00 AM EST
Pay rate: $33.40/-hr on W2.
Note: 449 Lewis Hargett Circle, Lexington, KY 40503, 220 Morehead Plaza, Morehead, KY 40351, 250 Foxglove Dr., Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 - You will have to travel in between these cities to cover!
Responsibilities:

• Provides a high level of customer service to patients, referral sources, and fellow employees.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with patients and referral sources.
• Obtains, verifies, and accurately enters patient demographic and insurance information.
• Maintains accurate and complete patient files and documentation in accordance with Company policies and established procedures.
• Protects the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements.
• Supports patient follow-up activities as directed.
• Efficiently manages multiple phone lines and responds to patient, referral source, and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Records and maintains clear, concise, accurate, and timely written documentation.
• Files patient charts and other documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
• Coordinates practitioner schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for patient appointments and out-of-office calls.
• Supports daily front office operations and assists with administrative tasks as needed.
• Identifies patient or operational issues and escalates them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, employee, and Company information.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Zero to One Year of customer service, administrative, healthcare, or related experience required.
• Previous experience in a receptionist, patient services, medical office, or healthcare front office environment preferred.
• Experience working with patient information, insurance verification, scheduling, or electronic medical records is preferred.
