WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

Job Function:

• Shift: 34.5 hrs | 3x11.5 Nights | 7pm-7:30am EOW.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document. electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing accepted only with relevant experience and/or active BSN enrollment
• Active NYS RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Minimum 2 years RN experience overall
• BSN required
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred for travel positions
• English proficiency required (Read, Write, Speak)
