Radiology - Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - OR experience required. - Proficient in trauma imaging and portable X-rays; fluoroscopy is minimal but possible. - Proficient in C-Arm procedures.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Fluoroscopy proficiency preferred.

Unit Details: - Performs fluoro/diagnostic X-rays for inpatients and ED patients, portable X-rays on patient floors, and C-Arm procedures in the OR. - Uses radiology rooms, portable X-ray equipment, C-Arms, R/F equipment, McKesson PACS, and Centricity RIS. - Average ED volume is around 20-25 patients per shift. - No support staff except on floors; responsible for a portion of portable exams on the floors.

Shift & Scheduling: - Friday-Sunday. - Call required. - Holidays required as needed and scheduled.

Floating Requirements: - Floating between Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
