Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication. Collaborate as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment, using troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems. Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date. Maintain a full‑time, 100% onsite presence. Qualifications You Must Have University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. Active and transferable US government‑issued Secret security clearance and US citizenship required. Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with containerization technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher. Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (including an operating system certification). Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions. Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX, and/or other virtual computing methods. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange. High‑performance computing experience in a Linux environment. Benefits Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
