Details Acute care hospital setting with 210 staffed beds Emergency Department unit Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Patient ratio of 1:6 Every other weekend required Floating required within scope Block scheduling accommodated on a case-by-case basis Charting via Meditech Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required, TNCC preferred Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience required Minimum 1 year of neuro/stroke experience required At least 2 previous travel assignments required Experience with level 1 resuscitation patients required Additional Information Must reside greater than 30 miles from the facility No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment Holiday coverage required per facility RTO restrictions surrounding Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Scrubs may be any color, but tee shirts, sweatshirts, and logos from other organizations are not permitted Free parking available in any unrestricted space Three call-outs during the assignment may result in termination American Traveler Job ID P-749692.
