Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, and extensive equipment repairs on industrial machinery such as large hydraulic presses, induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions.
• Supports advanced mechanic, electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs.
• Provides guidance to Maintenance 1 and 2 employees.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures, recommends solutions and conducts repairs.
• Documents maintenance activities as required and records time management in database.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
• Other general duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with electrical/control circuits from 480V AC to 24V DC
• Knowledge with PLC controls & logic
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control circuits.
• Related technical or engineering degree preferred.
• Provides basic tools
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
