Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor (credentialing preferred but not required) to help oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. Visit our website at About The Role As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities include: Directing workflow on the floor Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates Assist in the educational development of technicians and their skills Conduct staff meetings Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience Mentor technicians within the department Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner Refine and implement protocols Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff Compensation $19 - $30 / hour based on skill set, experience & licensure status. Schedule 5 day work week, weekend rotation required. Having mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you are a role model for the team. You will work alongside our Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment.
