Assignment Details
- Patient ratio (days): 3:1
- Daily visits: ~35
- Procedure rooms: 3
- Beds: 9

Requirements
- License: New York RN license required
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Skills:
- Proficient in endoscopic procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, EUS, flex sig, biopsies, polyp removal, foreign body removal, dilations)
- Experience with specimen handling (Cytology, pathology, frozen sections)
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization processes
- Familiarity with various scopes and electrosurgical units

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing gastroenterological procedures.
- Assist in the setup and monitoring of endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Handle specimens appropriately as per facility guidelines.
- Support the medical team in achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO (return-to-office/start notice): 7 days MAX
- On-call: Some weekend call; one night of call every 7-12 days
- Floating: Staff may float as needed
