Assembler 2nd Shift (Job ID: 148129) Perform SMT and through‑hole solder assembly, rework, and repair of printed circuit boards in a high‑mix, low‑volume aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. Support quality‑critical production by executing precision assembly, inspection, and verification activities in accordance with IPC standards and engineering requirements. Job Details Manufacturing Contract - 12 Months 4/10-2nd Shift Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to pass a medical exam Hourly pay: $22.00 - $27.00 Education & Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent 5+ years of hands‑on SMT/TH solder assembly experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment (aerospace, defense, or similar) IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑J‑STD‑001 standards Proficient with microscopes Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must take and pass a medical exam Preferred Skills IPC‑A‑610 certification IPC‑J‑STD‑001 certification Experience using microscopes for inspection and rework Job Duties & Functions Perform high‑mix SMT and through‑hole soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with work orders, engineering drawings, and IPC standards Remove, replace, and re‑work components, including bottom‑terminated devices (QFNs, BGAs, LGAs) using hot‑air pencils, hot plates, reflow ovens, and specialty rework stations Conduct X‑ray inspection of re‑worked bottom‑terminated parts, evaluate solder joint integrity, and document findings Execute board‑level verification (visual, AOI, X‑ray) and functional testing to ensure conformance to specifications Maintain cleanroom and ESD‑controlled work areas; monitor and record equipment parameters (temperature, airflow, etc.) Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggest process enhancements, and assist in training junior assemblers Physical Requirements & Environment Work onsite full‑time in a manufacturing environment Stand, sit, and perform repetitive precision soldering tasks for extended periods Use microscopes, soldering tools, rework stations, and X‑ray inspection equipment Maintain ESD and cleanroom compliance requirements TeamGlobal Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and more TeamGlobal Rewards Program Employee Referral Program Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401k retirement plan, medical, vision, and dental coverage, accident insurance, and convenient direct deposit.
