Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across age groups (neonates through geriatrics) as part of the hospital’s respiratory services
- Manage ventilator support and weaning, including HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and related modes
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results to guide therapy
- Provide airway management support, including tracheostomy care and suctioning (ETT/NT)
- Administer inhaled therapies and aerosolized medications; monitor response and adjust therapy as needed
- Monitor patient status with O2 saturation and end-tidal CO2, respond to changes, and communicate with the care team
- Assist with emergent airway interventions and participate in rapid response activities as required
- Complete charting in EPIC and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team; may float to different units to meet staffing needs

Requirements
- Licensure: Active respiratory therapy license; pending licenses accepted for consideration
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS; CRT or RRT certification required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RT experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Education: (Not specified beyond standard RT education; not required to list here)
- Skills: Ventilator management and weaning, arterial blood gases, airway care, inhaled therapies; proficiency with EPIC charting
- Eligibility: Ability to work in a hospital setting and float to support respiratory services across the facility
