Summary / Objective This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. Essential Functions Ensure that client families and others entering the office receive required information or assistance. Assist the team in moving casketed deceased and related items in and out of visitation areas, chapels, and other places of service. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, chapels, restrooms, and reception areas before and after scheduled services. Assist client families with limousine access, with special emphasis on handicapped and elderly members. Support funeral services and visitation by greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, and arranging parking. Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrate teamwork, detail orientation, thoroughness, customer service orientation, and time management. Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure High school diploma preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in client relations or related field. Valid state‑issued driver’s license in good standing with acceptable driving record. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Attend and perform work professionally and courteously according to employer requirements. Willingness to participate in community involvement to grow market share. Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, community leaders, and grieving client families. Show empathy, tact, and patience in emotionally charged situations. Handle complaints or dissatisfaction professionally. Maintain a positive attitude and organized work environment. Simultaneously handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands and Work Environment Position is primarily performed in an indoor office setting. Outdoor duties may involve exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, uneven ground, dust, gas, and fumes. Equipment includes computer, fax, copier, multi‑line phone system, AV system, body lift, casket handling/transport devices, and personal or company vehicle. Employee must climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Position may require reaching, pushing, and pulling. May be exposed to chemicals or blood‑borne pathogens; exposure risk is considered low. Overtime may be necessary or required. Travel Up to 10% out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be required.
