As our Digital Center of Excellence (COE) continues to grow, we are adding a Social Media Specialist to support our Diving Business Unit and help strengthen the digital presence of the SCUBAPRO brand. Note- This is a remote position or could be based at corporate headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin.

What you will do:

The Social Media Specialist for Scubapro, builds brand preference and ultimately revenue by planning, creating, and publishing content on aligned-on social media platforms; manages community engagement; creates and maintains a strong, positive brand presence.

• Strategy development: Develops and executes organic social plans, which includes developing content and publishing on each platform; contributes to the development of social media strategies.

• Marketing Activation: Contributes to marketing activation planning, aligning organic social plans to support marketing campaigns and goals.

• Content Creation and Management: Drives year-over-year improvements in KPIs among prospective audiences and followers by creating, curating, and managing timely and engaging content optimized for specific social platforms and intended audiences, increasing reach and engagement.

• Community Engagement: Listens, engages, and responds to online conversations with consumers, as appropriate.
• Visual Content Development: Develops graphics and other visual elements for social posts as needed or collaborates with others to do so.

• Performance Analysis: Analyzes performance against KPIs monthly, using internal tools and native platform reporting, as needed. Optimizes plans using learning from analysis.

• Best Practices and Trends: Identifies and analyzes social media content development and publishing best practices and trends; shares with team, stays up to date with changes in key social platforms and proposes relevant plan changes.

• Customer Service Partnership: Partners with customer and technical service teams to enable response to direct consumer messages.

• Appropriately uses approved AI and other digital technologies applying an AI-first mindset to enhance work processes, decision-making, communication, and business outcomes. Applies professional judgment and human oversight to AI-generated outputs, and ensures use aligns with company security, privacy, ethical, and governance standards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of social media experience using multiple social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram) and creating/publishing social media content to increase community engagement.
• Experience using social/digital media publishing platforms within a professional/business environment.
• Skills and experience in delivering creative content (text, image, and video). Demonstrated creative skills to contribute to social media strategy.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and marketing channels.
• Ability to recognize future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to identify social media trends and analyze social platform performance to maximize social growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research on social media platforms.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers/consumers, internal teams, and external vendors. Ability to understand the brand and products and communicate directly with customers on social media mediums.
• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize work.
• Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of role-relevant AI concepts, business applications, tool limitations, and responsible AI principles, including privacy, security, and bias awareness. Ability to use AI tools for analysis, planning, communication, and problem-solving while validating outputs and adapting as tools evolve.
