This role is responsible for project setup, upfront submittals, material coordination, and order accuracy from project award through material release. The Project Manager will work exclusively with internal Otis stakeholders to ensure projects are fully prepared for successful field execution.**This role reports to any local branch operating in the Central Time Zone.****On a typical day you will:*** Manage assigned projects from contract award through material release, ensuring all upfront requirements are completed accurately and on schedule* Coordinate and prepare technical submittals, drawings, and documentation required for material release* Validate scope, configuration, and order accuracy to ensure alignment with contract documents and Otis standards* Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Estimating, and Field Operations to resolve scope gaps and technical questions prior to release* Ensure material orders are complete, accurate, and released in accordance with project schedules and internal milestones* Proactively identify risks, inconsistencies, or missing information that could impact downstream execution* Track progress against key upfront deliverables and provide clear status updates to internal stakeholders* Maintain organized and accurate project documentation within Otis systems* Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives within the Central Release Team**Note:** This role does not interface with customers and does not include field execution, billing, or change order management.**What you will need to be successful:*** 2+ years of project management experience in the elevator, construction, or related technical field* Working knowledge of construction documents, submittals, and material procurement* Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and elevator drawings* Detail‐oriented with a focus on accuracy and process adherence* Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects concurrently* Clear written and verbal communication skills* Collaborative, team‐focused approach across functions* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools* Self‐driven, analytical, and comfortable in milestone‐based environments* High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred**Additional Comments:**Given the nature of the position, applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.**What we offer:*** We offer a 401(k) plan with a generous company match and an automatic retirement contribution for your future financial security from day one of your employment, you and your eligible dependents will receive comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.* Enjoy three weeks of paid vacation, along with paid company holidays* We provide paid sick leave, employee assistance, and wellness incentive programs to support your well-being.* Life insurance and disability coverage to protect you and your family.* Voluntary benefits, including options for legal, pet, home, and auto insurance.* We offer generous birth/adoption and parental leave benefits, as well as adoption assistance, to support growing families.* Pursue your educational goals with our tuition reimbursement program.* Recognize and be recognized!
