Assembly Operator

Job Opportunity The Assembly Operator assembles flexible and semi-rigid RF cables to engineering specifications. The Operators solder and weld connectors to cables according to customer requirements. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Reading and interpreting engineering documents Following work instructions to produce flexible and semi-rigid cables per customer requirements Working with engineers to problem solve production issues Prepping cables to prepare for assembly Soldering or welding connectors to cables Measuring and bending specialty cables to specific dimensions Completing required documentation Qualifications/requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience manufacturing cable or cable assemblies, preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Ability to read micrometers and calipers Ability to read, speak and understand English Welding or soldering experience, preferred Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide), including working with fractions and decimals.
