Job Title: Mechanical Equipment & Tooling Engineer
Location: Everett, WA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $74/hr on W2
Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical Equipment & Tooling Engineer to support manufacturing and production operations. The role involves equipment and tooling design, production floor support, process improvements, equipment implementation, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing equipment and tooling solutions.
- Support production floor operations and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Create and revise engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and equipment implementation activities.
- Develop maintenance, inspection, and operational documentation.
- Manage equipment projects, schedules, and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, production, tooling, or equipment engineering.
- Experience with CAD tools and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in production/manufacturing environments.
- Pressure vessel design experience.
- Knowledge of ASME codes, piping systems, or industrial equipment.
- GD&T and 3D modeling experience.
- Project management experience.
