CDL Driver Paid Training to Obtain Your CDL! We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Elyria, OH via Lorain County Transit. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Compensation & Benefits Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement $22.00 / hour Paid training to obtain your CDL Medical, Dental, and Vision 401(k) Paid time off & vacation Key Responsibilities Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations. Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications 21 years or older. Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional). A valid CDL with class C & Passenger endorsements. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical test if applicable. Physical Requirements Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Must be able to sit, type, or look at a computer screen for long periods.
