Specialty Care Coordinator - Women's Health

Location Good Samaritan Hospital Schedule Full‑time days. No weekend, holiday, or on‑call commitments. Job Overview Coordination and oversight of ongoing multidisciplinary clinics, including collaboration with multispecialties, patients, and caregivers. Coordination and management of prescribed oral medications, including prior authorizations, patient assistance, and monitoring of oral compliance. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Healthcare (Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, Health Administration, or similar). Required. 3–4 years of experience in a physician practice setting. Required. Experience with front office and back office operations of a physician practice, EMR, and Microsoft Office. Participation in a professional organization desired. Job Responsibilities Tracking: coordinate metrics and data, identify trends, and pursue improvement opportunities. Education/awareness: ensure patients understand treatment and management plans under provider guidance. Collaboration: work with multidisciplinary teams for brainstorming, group discussions, and problem solving. Navigation/coordination: coordinate patient care across multiple providers to ensure best quality of care, exchanging information and ensuring resources are available. Patient advocacy: identify barriers to care, and seek interventions such as financial aid, grant funding, and support groups.
