Job Title: ICU Float Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Eve/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of ICU acute care experience License: RN License (New York License ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills; ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care Description: The position offers exposure to a variety of ICU specialties, including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care. The role includes being assigned to the intensive care units with the greatest staffing need. Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care is essential. Candidates must possess an active RN license in New York. Certification in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association is required. Two years of ICU experience is mandatory.
