Following our UK expansion in 2024, this is afantasticopportunity to scaleina high-potential market.This role is pivotal to enablingTeltonikato grow our presence in the UK and Ireland. Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite G1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, Salford, M5 3EJ. In this role, you will: Take ownership of developing and growing a sector (e.public transport) within the UK & Ireland, contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy Identify, engage, and close high-value opportunities Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound and strategic networking Develop relationships with senior decision-makers Deliver consultativesales conversations Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions Create tailored commercial proposals and negotiate contracts Collaboratewith technical teamsto ensuredelivery ofbest-fit solutions Accurately manage pipeline and forecasting via our CRM What we expect of you: Proven success in B2B business development /Technical Consulting Strongtrack recordof winning new business and closing deals Strong connectionsand experiencewithintheUK and/or Irish PublicTransportsector Experience in one ormore of the following: Telematics /vehicle/assettracking solutions - understanding how to connect moving assets to a management platform to support efficient publictransportationoperations Internet of Things (IoT)/ connectivity - understanding how data from assets such as vehicles supports informed business decision-making Networking infrastructure - understanding the systems required to enable the transmission of data from assets to end users Confident in outbound prospecting and building pipeline from scratch Commercially driven with a strong focus on revenue and growth Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills English language skills (both written and spoken) A willingness to travel nationally to meet prospective clients and close new business Full UK driving licenceand access to your own vehicle Direct telematicsor asset trackingexperience is beneficial-but we welcome strongcandidatesfrom adjacent tech markets.
