Role Description The Part Time Medical Assistant (MA) at Any Lab Test Now – Asheville, NC is an on-site role responsible for supporting daily clinical and administrative operations in the testing center. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including specimen collection, vital signs, and basic clinical support.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to understand test orders, documentation, and laboratory procedures.
- Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including front desk support, scheduling, and patient intake.
- Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and respect for diverse client populations.
- Candidates should possess experience handling Medical Records, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification or registration as an MA is preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols, maintain aseptic technique, and adhere to safety and HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills, with reliability in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with electronic systems for scheduling and documentation.
