About the Role:
Our client, a well-established property management company in San Diego, is seeking a  Temporary Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across their residential portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has strong tenant-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Property Manager with daily operations of assigned properties
• Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with leasing activities including scheduling tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
• Track rent payments, assist with collections, and maintain accurate tenant records
• Help prepare reports, budgets, and general administrative documentation
• Maintain compliance with company policies and local housing regulations
• Support move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of property management or real estate experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
