Shift Details

- Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

- Schedule: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Unit Information

• Unit: Ultrasound
• Number of Beds: 330
• Patient Ratios: Average of 35 patients daily
• Staffing: 24/7 when positions are filled
• Staffing Description: All sonographers hold ARDMS and RVT credentials

Equipment and Documentation

• Type of Equipment: GE Logic E10
• Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

• Monday - Thursday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Call Rotation: Required on Friday and Saturday nights on a 4-5 week rotation

Patient Experience Requirements

- AIDET

Certifications and Skills

Required Skill Set:
- General and Vascular Ultrasound experience

Advanced Skills Needed:
- Arterial vascular experience

Certifications Required:
- ARDMS; RVT preferred

Procedures Performed

• Para and thoras
• Thyroid biopsies
• General and vascular ultrasounds

Dress Code

- Required Uniform: Slate Gray
