Electronics Quality Technician II

**Motorola Solutions values your privacy** .The **Electronics Quality Technician-II** reports to the Quality Supervisor on the Operations - Quality Control team. The successful individual in this role will support *StreamCaster(TM) MANET* product development and manufacturing.* Conduct advanced visual inspection and rework per IPC-J-STD 001 standards.* Perform continuity, resistance, and voltage checks to support root cause analysis.* Build and repair custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test fixtures.* Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and test equipment under supervision.* Support RMA processing by performing initial diagnostic checks on returned units.* Collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify process improvements and recurring issues.* Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances effectively.* Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.* High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in electronics assembly, inspection, or rework; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics, with 1-2 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field.* Proficiency in the use of soldering equipment such as hand irons, bottom burners, and hot air stations.* Familiarity with basic test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply).* Proficient in Windows-based data entry and documentation tools.* **Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.*** ****All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.***** Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) under IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD 001.* Familiar with low-voltage and RF PCB assemblies.* Experience supporting R&D or prototype environments.* Knowledge of ESD controls, calibration tracking, and safety procedures.- The employee is required to do the following while performing the duties of this job: * Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves. * Kneeling or squatting to access lower shelves. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments. * Walking/Moving in the labs.**COMPENSATION:** $29.12 - $31.20 / hourly* High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in electronics assembly, inspection, or rework; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics, with 1-2 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field.* ****NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.***** ****All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.***** Incentive Bonus Plans* Medical, Dental, Vision benefits* 401K with Company Match* 10 Paid Holidays* Generous Paid Time Off Packages* Employee Stock Purchase Plan* Paid Parental & Family Leave* and more! #J-18808-Ljbffr Motorola Solutions
