Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical Assembler Aerotek is hiring mechanical assemblers for 1st shift! Assemblers will be responsible for team mechanical assembly of various railroad repair equipment and machines. Compensation ranges up to $22/hr based on skill-level and experience! Job Description: Follow a build sheet and/or blueprints to perform assemblies Utilize various hand and power tools to secure assemblies Inspect and troubleshoot any malfunctions with the equipment Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: 2 years of mechanical assembly or mechanic experience Ability to lift up to 50lbs consecutively 2 years of reading and interpreting blueprint experience Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm We are a well-lit, climate controlled facility with a longstanding tradition of excellence in Racine county. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RACINE, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
