A growing hospital-employed cancer program in southern Virginia is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join its established multidisciplinary oncology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient cancer care within a supportive, patient-centered environment backed by a leading national health system.


• Join an experienced team including Hem/Onc, Rad/Onc, APPs, navigators, and full clinical support staff
• Outpatient-focused practice averaging 25-30 patients per day with 10 infusion chairs
• Bi-weekly tumor boards and active clinical trial programs
• Aria Oncology Information System in use with full lab and pharmacy support onsite
• Collaborative relationships with tertiary centers and access to advanced technology in an ACOS-CoC accredited program

Qualifications


• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology
• Active or eligible Virginia medical license and DEA certification
• New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
