About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join its Leadership Team. The CIO will be responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and oversight of the school's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes ensuring that technology is leveraged to support and enhance the educational experience, improve administrative efficiency, and secure data integrity and privacy. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, capable of aligning IT strategies with the school's academic and operational goals, and driving innovation and operational excellence. Essential duties include directing the day-to-day operations of the technology department, developing and implementing strategic technology plans, and overseeing the school's technology budget and vendor relationships. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in a technology leadership role, with a preference for those with at least 4 years' experience in K-12 education. A Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification is required or must be attained within one year of hire. The role demands a proven record in enterprise technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to guide the school in the adoption of new technologies. The CIO will also be responsible for supervising the technology department staff and coordinating the skills development of all employees in technology operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude towards the future of the school's technology and the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
