The ideal candidate will be an expert-level technician in multiple modalities. This role is considered a leader on the team and may have supervisory responsibilities. The BMET III will play a supporting role to the manager or director.What You Will DoAssemble, repair, and maintain patient care equipment according to their specificationsManage the facility's scheduled maintenance programDocument all activities in Renovo's proprietary system (RenovoLive)Maintain departmental performance standards and goalsSupport cost containment under the direction of a supervisor or managerProvide mentoring and training to BMETs and apprenticesAdhere to KPI targets related to task execution and support the team in achieving KPIs consistentlyComply with Renovo and hospital policiesQualificationsAt least 5 years of experience as a biomedical technicianKnowledge of electromechanical devices and principles, as well as a thorough understanding of general patient care equipment and can demonstrate the usage of supported devicesUnderstanding of life-support and diagnostic support devices and their usage within the healthcare settingProficient with multiple devices / modalities (ex. Patient Monitoring) and is an expert on the topicRequirement: need to pass a background check and drug screeningEducation/Special TrainingH.S.
