Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care is needed in Fargo, North Dakota. This position involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume medical/surgical unit, providing care to general medical and surgical patients, including those from a Level 1 trauma center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fargo, North Dakota
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730). Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical experience; Level 1 trauma experience; Epic electronic health record experience; ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment; must bring license on first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float to other medical/surgical units as needed.
• Additional Information: Client can call off up to 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty. The unit is a newly established, fast-paced medical/surgical unit with private 15 beds. Nurses will adhere to a navy blue scrubs dress code. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 at night.
