Engineering Manager – Corpus Christi Desalination Plant

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead all engineering and technical activities for the Corpus Christi Desalination Plant , from design development through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

This role serves as the project’s technical authority , ensuring engineering deliverables are high quality, fully coordinated across disciplines, and aligned with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, marine, and I&C systems
• Manage relationships with lead designers, consultants, vendors, and engineering partners
• Oversee design development, technical reviews, constructability, and value engineering
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Support procurement, vendor integration, FATs/SATs, and technical issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering
• Proven experience in large water, wastewater, or desalination infrastructure projects
• Strong background managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces
• Experience with marine intake/outfall systems and coastal permitting environments preferred
• Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of desalination technologies and plant operations
